Warzone Hackers Can Now Ban Other Players and Crash Games, Fix Coming in One Month
A severe security vulnerability in Call of Duty: Warzone allows hackers to manipulate the game's reporting system and crash entire lobbies, with fixes not expected until early 2024.

- Submit up to 100 false reports against legitimate players
- Trigger automatic account bans through RICOCHET Anti-Cheat
- Force lobby crashes affecting multiple players
- Manipulate crossplay settings in Ranked Play

Raven Software has acknowledged these issues, confirming cheating as their "top priority" particularly in Ranked Play. The developer is working with the RICOCHET Anti-Cheat team to address these exploits.

- Server-side protection improvements in Season 3 (approximately March 2024)
- Enhanced movement mechanics and mantle speeds
- Rebalanced perks system
