Overwatch 2's Hazard, New Tank Hero With Purple Spikes, Available for Testing This Weekend

Overwatch 2's latest tank hero, Hazard, will be available for a limited-time playtest from November 22-25, ahead of their official Season 14 launch next month.

Blizzard Entertainment revealed Hazard in a new cinematic showing the character participating in a heist at the Oasis University map. The hero's abilities showcase purple spike-based attacks, including:
- Rail gun shooting
- Purple blade arm attacks
- Purple rock creation
- Massive spike volleys
The character appears to be based on an early Overwatch 1 concept hero named Phreak, which is now the name of Hazard's faction. More details about Hazard's backstory and complete ability kit will be revealed before the playtest begins this Friday.
