The 2025 EMEA Masters introduces significant changes to align with the LEC's three-split model, featuring new tournaments and innovative formats throughout the year.

Three Tournament Structure:

• Winter: 16 teams (March 17 start)
• Spring: 32 teams
• Summer: 44 teams (Season finale)

Winter Split Details:

• Features Fearless Draft system (champions can't be repeated in a series)
• GSL-style group stage with regional protection
• Top 8 teams advance to single-elimination playoffs
• Includes ERL Winter champions and three second-seeded teams from top leagues

Spring Split Format:

• 32 teams compete
• Returns to standard drafting rules
• GSL-style group stage with regional protection
• 16 teams advance to single-elimination playoffs
• Best-of-five matches in playoffs

Summer Split Format:

• 44 teams total
• Begins with Last Chance Qualifier (16 teams)
• Region-protected GSL group stage
• Swiss Stage format
• Top 16 advance to playoffs
• No regional protection in playoffs
• Best-of-five matches

Regional Slot Distribution:

• Winter: All 13 ERLs get top seeds, plus 3 additional second seeds
• Spring: Six leagues receive 3 slots, others get 2 slots
• Summer: All regions get 3 slots, top five receive extra slot
