Eight teams have received direct invites to the PGL CSGO Major in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, with a total prize pool of $250,000. The tournament runs from October 28 to November 1, 2015.

The invited teams are:

• Fnatic
• EnVyUs
• Virtus.pro
• Team Dignitas
• Ninjas in Pyjamas
• Natus Vincere
• Cloud9

An additional eight teams will qualify through regional qualifiers, including Americas, Asia, and European regions. The tournament features a Swiss-system format for the group stage, followed by single-elimination playoffs.

This marks PGL's first CS:GO Major Championship, building on their successful track record of hosting premier esports events. The venue for the event is the Sala Polivalentă arena, with a capacity of over 7,000 spectators.

All matches will be broadcast live on Twitch.tv, with additional language coverage available in multiple languages including Russian, French, and Portuguese.

The prize pool distribution:

• 1st place: $100,000
• 2nd place: $50,000
• 3rd-4th place: $22,000
• 5th-8th place: $14,000
