Team Liquid has announced the signing of Daniil "NertZ" Kuznetsov to their Counter-Strike division. The 18-year-old CIS prodigy will take the role of main AWPer, filling the void left by Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis's departure.

NertZ joins Liquid from K23, where he showcased remarkable performance with a 1.15 rating across 2023. Despite his young age, he has already proven himself as one of CIS region's most promising talents.

The move marks Liquid's strategic shift toward nurturing young talent while maintaining their competitive edge in professional Counter-Strike. NertZ will make his debut with the team at IEM Katowice 2024, where Liquid aims to start the year strong.
