Team Vitality Benches Hylissang, Mid Laner Nisqy Steps in as Support
Team Vitality has made a surprising roster change by benching veteran support Hylissang and replacing him with former mid laner Nisqy ahead of the LEC Spring Split.

The decision comes after strategic disagreements within the team led to a disappointing seventh-place finish in the Winter Split. Team Vitality's coach James "Mac" MacCormack explained that while difficult, the change was necessary to align the team's vision and improve their competitive prospects.

Nisqy will partner with former MAD Lions teammate Carzzy in the bot lane. Since leaving SK Gaming in 2024, Nisqy has been practicing support champions like Braum, Leona, Nautilus, and Rell in solo queue, suggesting this role swap was planned.
With the Spring Split starting March 29, Nisqy faces the challenge of quickly adapting to his new support role at the professional level. The success of this unconventional roster move could determine Vitality's trajectory for the rest of the season.
