Path of Exile 2: Lightning Sorceress Player Nears World-First Level 100
A former Dota 2 and Hearthstone pro, Andrew "TidesofTime" Biessener, is on track to become Path of Exile 2's first level 100 player. Currently at level 98, he leads a tight race with eight other players close behind.

Biessener's Stormweaver sorceress build dominates through a powerful lightning-based strategy. Using the Spark skill, he creates a screen-filling lightning storm that efficiently clears dungeons while allowing safe teleportation through maps.
The build's success relies on a mana-focused approach:
- Utilizes passive skills that boost shock damage based on mana
- Employs Mind Over Matter to convert mana into life
- Reduces life to one point while gaining chaos damage immunity
- Eliminates the need for traditional life stats
This strategy has proven so effective that five of the top 10 players are using similar Stormweaver sorceress builds. According to community analysis, this class combination dominates the top 1,000 player leaderboard.
After investing over 260 hours, Biessener maintains a slim lead over a second-place Invoker monk. The race continues to be competitive as players push toward the maximum level in Path of Exile 2's early access phase, available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC.
