
Na'Vi Crowned Champions at First-Ever CS:GO Asia Championship

Natus Vincere (Na'Vi) secured victory at the inaugural CS:GO Asia Championship in Shanghai, China, marking their second tournament win of 2018. The event, hosted by Perfect World, showcased top-tier Counter-Strike competition following the game's Chinese release in September 2017.
Na'Vi demonstrated exceptional performance throughout the tournament, beginning with a flawless 2-0 group stage run. They defeated Team Envy (2-0) and Ninjas in Pyjamas (2-1) to advance directly to the semifinals.
In the semifinals, Na'Vi dominated Envy with a convincing 2-0 victory, led by strong performances from Edward and s1mple. The grand finals saw Na'Vi triumph over Virtus Pro 2-1, despite dropping the opening map Dust II. They secured the championship with decisive wins on Nuke (16-4) and Train (16-6), with flamie joining Edward and s1mple in delivering standout performances. S1mple was awarded the HLTV MVP for his exceptional play throughout the tournament.
This victory marks Na'Vi's second consecutive international championship, following their win at StarSeries Season Five two weeks prior. However, Na'Vi CEO Yevhen Zolotarov has hinted at potential roster changes in the near future. The team's next major appearance will be at ESL Cologne, scheduled for July 3-8.
