Riot Games is expanding the League of Legends European Championship (LEC) beyond its Berlin studio through a groundbreaking roadtrip initiative. The company announced two major events that will bring professional League of Legends to new European venues.

Movistar KOI will host the first-ever LEC roadtrip event in Spain on March 26-27, 2024, with matches taking place at the Palacio Vistalegre in Madrid. This historic venue will welcome thousands of esports fans for an exciting weekend of competitive gameplay.

Following the Spanish event, the LEC will travel to France, where Karmine Corp will host matches at the Adidas Arena in Paris on April 6-7, 2024. This newly constructed venue, with a capacity of 8,000 seats, will serve as an ideal setting for high-stakes professional League of Legends games.

These events mark a significant milestone in LEC's history, bringing professional League of Legends closer to fans across Europe. Both Movistar KOI and Karmine Corp, known for their passionate fan bases, will help create unique atmospheres at their respective venues.

Riot Games plans to release more details about ticket sales, match schedules, and additional activities in the coming weeks. This initiative represents the LEC's commitment to growing its presence throughout Europe and engaging with fans in new locations.

The roadtrip events will maintain the same high production standards fans expect from the LEC while adding unique local flavors from each host city. This expansion beyond Berlin demonstrates the growing popularity of professional League of Legends in Europe and sets a new precedent for future regional events.
