FlyQuest is revolutionizing League of Legends professional practice by publicly streaming their team scrims, making professional gameplay more accessible to aspiring players and fans.

Starting February 2024, FlyQuest's LTA North squad will stream weekly scrims every Tuesday at 1:45 pm CT on their Twitch channel. The streams will feature full gameplay footage, player communications, and VOD reviews.

The initiative follows FlyQuest's impressive performance at Worlds 2024, where their five-match series against Gen.G attracted over 3.5 million viewers globally. Fans can now watch professional players like Bwipo, Inspired, Quad, Massu, and Busio in their practice environment.

Christopher "PapaSmithy" Smith, FlyQuest's president and chief gaming officer, acknowledges the risks of revealing strategies but believes the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. The decision aims to:

  • Provide transparency into professional practice
  • Help tier-two, Collegiate, and amateur teams improve
  • Lower barriers to entry in American esports
  • Strengthen connection with fans

The first streamed scrims against Cloud9 reached 50,000 peak viewers. Fans can watch live on Twitch or catch VODs on FlyQuest's YouTube channel.
