Destiny 2: Kell's Fall Mission Now Offers Increased Material Rewards
Bungie has significantly increased the Reflective Flakes drop rate in Destiny 2's Kell's Fall Exotic mission to improve the player experience. Standard difficulty completions now reward approximately four Reflective Flakes (up from one), while Expert difficulty grants around nine.
Reflective Flakes serve as the primary crafting material for Rare and Legendary Tonics exclusive to the Kell's Fall mission. Players need these materials to unlock the mission's 10 available Tonics and associated weapons, including the Red Tape scout rifle.
While this improvement makes the grind more manageable, multiple mission runs are still required to obtain all rewards, including catalysts and intrinsic upgrades for the Slayer's Fang Exotic shotgun.
Future updates may introduce additional sources for Reflective Flakes, potentially through the upcoming Kell's Vengeance variant of Contest of Elders, though details and release timing remain unconfirmed.
