Ryze joins exclusive 1000-day club of LoL champions without new skins
Ryze champion in blue robe
Ryze, the iconic League of Legends champion, has officially joined the "1000-day club" - a group of champions who haven't received a new skin in over 1,000 days. His last skin release was Arcane Ryze in April 2022.
Man clenches glowing blue fist
Despite being a viable champion with an A-tier ranking and over 50% win rate in Emerald rank and above, Ryze has faced multiple reworks throughout his existence in League. He now joins five other champions in the 1000-day club:
- Skarner
- Braum
- Corki
- Alistar
- Xin Zhao
This extended period without a new skin comes as a surprise to many players, especially considering Ryze's historical significance in both League's lore and professional play, particularly his association with legendary player Faker.
While Riot Games hasn't officially commented on the lack of new skins for Ryze, the champion continues to maintain relevance in the current meta, suggesting this drought isn't performance-related.
