VALORANT's latest update introduces Rank Shields, a new feature protecting players from immediate deranking after reaching a new rank tier. This mechanic gives players breathing room to maintain their hard-earned ranks.

Rank Shield Protection:

• Activates upon reaching a new rank tier
• Provides 10 RR protection before deranking
• Only applies to rank-tier promotions (e.g., Gold 1 to Platinum 1)
• Does not apply to divisions within tiers

Major Tejo Bug Fixes:

• Fixed ultimate ability interactions with Sage's Barrier Orb
• Resolved issues with Tejo's teleport ability in specific map locations
• Corrected visual glitches affecting Tejo's character model

General Game Improvements:

• Enhanced matchmaking algorithm stability
• Improved server performance in high-traffic regions
• Fixed minor UI bugs in the game client

The patch also includes various stability improvements and minor bug fixes to ensure smoother gameplay experience across all game modes.

Note: Update size is approximately 1.2GB and requires a client restart after installation.
