Naafiri, one of League of Legends' least-played champions, is getting a significant rework that includes a potential role expansion into the jungle. Lead designer August has confirmed a midscope update that will introduce more skill expression and additional dogs to her kit.

Key changes in the upcoming update:
- Addition of jungle capabilities
- More skill expression in abilities
- Increased number of dogs in her kit
- Maintained viability as a solo laner
The community response has been mixed. While some players welcome the jungle role expansion, others express concern about the addition of more pet mechanics, citing past issues with pet-based champions being "clunky." Currently, Naafiri holds a mere 1.8% popularity rate according to League of Graphs.
The update is scheduled to hit the Public Beta Environment (PBE) servers this week, where players can test the changes firsthand and provide feedback on the rework.
