Overwatch 2's latest hero, Hazard, is a Scottish tank character who brings punk attitude and crystal-based abilities to the game's roster. Players can test the new hero during a limited playtest from November 22-25, ahead of his official release in Season 14 this December.

Hazard's origin story takes place in Oasis, where he encounters an unstable element that bonds with his body, granting him unique crystal-based powers. His abilities include:

• Firing crystal spikes from his back
• Forming a blade from his left arm
• Creating large crystal formations
• Shooting purple energy from his arm-gun

As Overwatch 2's 13th tank hero and the first since Mauga, Hazard represents the game's continued expansion of the tank role. A member of the Phreaks gang, he combines aggressive playstyle with defensive capabilities.

Players can experience Hazard for free on all platforms where Overwatch 2 is available, including:

• Xbox Series X

The character was initially teased at BlizzCon last year, with additional hints appearing in the Season 13 trailer before his full reveal.
