Former OpTic Texas player Pred has officially announced his departure from the team, citing the need to address personal mental health issues. The announcement comes after recent speculation following his replacement by Huke in the team's lineup.

During a December 16 stream, Pred revealed he has returned to Australia to focus on his mental well-being. He directly addressed gambling rumors, firmly stating he never bet on Call of Duty League matches, and emphasized that his departure stems from personal issues affecting his performance and relationships.

"I appreciate all the support and love everyone is showing me," Pred stated on Twitter/X. "I will be stepping away and handling my personal issues to fix my mental health. A minor setback for a major comeback."

The situation became public on December 12 when OpTic Texas announced Huke would replace Pred, with minimal explanation regarding the roster change. OpTic Texas currently maintains a 3-1 record in the CDL's Major One qualifiers as the league enters its holiday break.

The Call of Duty League will resume competition on January 17, with OpTic Texas continuing under their new lineup while Pred focuses on his personal recovery.
