G2 Esports has officially welcomed HeavyGod, formerly known as Aicho, to their VALORANT roster. The 19-year-old Russian duelist joined as a free agent after parting ways with M80 in December 2023.

Known for his exceptional performance during the VCT 2023 season, HeavyGod helped M80 secure significant victories in both the NA Challengers League and Ascension tournaments. His impressive stats include averaging 246.4 ACS and 150.7 ADR throughout the year.

G2's acquisition of HeavyGod marks their strategic preparation for the 2024 VCT season, where they aim to strengthen their position in the Americas League. The young talent will play alongside established teammates eeiu, penny, valyn, and wippie.

The organization expects HeavyGod to bring fresh dynamics to their aggressive playstyle, particularly with his proficiency on agents like Jett and Raze. His addition completes G2's roster renovation following their 7-8th place finish in VCT Americas 2023.
