Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has implemented a significant update to its Ranked Play mode by banning three overpowered weapons that have been causing balance issues in competitive play.

The banned weapons include:

• PPSh-41 submachine gun (Season 2 addition)
• Cypher 091 assault rifle (Season 2 addition)
• KSV SMG

Additionally, the Experimental Gas grenade has been restricted in Warzone's Ranked Play mode.

Players will need to adjust their loadouts accordingly, with plenty of alternative weapons still available for competitive play.

Looking ahead, Season Two Reloaded is scheduled for February 20, bringing:

• New weapons
• New maps
• Directed Mode in Zombies for The Tomb map
• Limited-time events
